About Feetle
Changing one letter doesn't sound like much of a challenge until you're trying to turn a completely unrelated word into FEET. That's the idea behind Feetle, a daily word puzzle inspired by games like Wordle and Weaver. Instead of guessing a hidden word, you have to build a chain of words, making small changes until you finally reach the four-letter destination.
One Small Change Makes a Big Difference
Every puzzle begins with a new four-letter starting word. From there, you can replace just one letter per move to create another valid English word. You can't skip ahead or enter random combinations hoping they'll count. Each word has to make sense on its own, and the final destination is always FEET. For example, a possible route is FEAR → BEAR → BEAT → FEAT → FEET. Notice how only one letter changes between neighboring words? That's the rule you'll need to follow throughout the puzzle.
Fewer Moves, Better Thinking
Getting to FEET is only part of the challenge. The interesting part is finding a shorter route without getting stuck halfway through. A useful trick is to think about words that share several letters with your target, then work backward to see which words could connect them to your starting point. Sometimes the first path you discover works, but it may not be the shortest one. Before submitting another word, consider whether changing a different letter could open up a better route.
A Fresh Word Challenge Whenever You Want
Feetle offers a daily puzzle for anyone who enjoys having one new challenge to solve, along with an unlimited mode for those who aren't ready to stop. It's easy to understand but surprisingly tricky once you start searching for the right connections. If word games are your thing, this little letter-changing exercise is worth a try.
