About Redcoats.io
War Everywhere You Look
In Redcoats.io, the battlefield never feels small. Hundreds of players fight across the same map at the same time, creating massive 18th-century battles filled with smoke, cannon fire, cavalry charges, and collapsing infantry lines.
The fighting starts almost immediately after spawning. Gunfire erupts across open fields while groups of soldiers push toward enemy positions together. Surviving alone rarely lasts very long.
Pick a Role Before the Battle Starts
Every class changes how you experience the war.
Musketeers handle most frontline fighting with slow-loading muskets that hit hard when volleys land together. Cavalrymen move much faster, cutting through isolated enemies or circling behind distracted groups. Cannoneers focus on artillery, aiming heavy cannons toward crowded sections of the battlefield. Sailors appear mainly on coastal or water-heavy maps where ships and shoreline combat matter more.
Switching classes can completely change your strategy during a match.
Battles Can Collapse Instantly
The size of the matches creates constant confusion in the best possible way. One moment, your team controls a position comfortably. Seconds later, cannon fire wipes out half the line while cavalry crashes through the side.
Because muskets reload slowly, timing matters; missing a shot often leaves players vulnerable while enemies reload nearby. Large groups usually survive longer because coordinated volleys are far deadlier than random firing.
Not Your Typical Online Shooter
Redcoats.io feels less like a modern shooter and more like stepping into a loud, disorganized historical battlefield. The slower weapons, crowded maps, and giant player count make every match unpredictable from start to finish.
